Recessed Manhole Covers. Recessed, means the cover is a set of frame and tray, with a recessed area to fill screed in and paving materials. Access Covers are removable or hinge type solid plate placed on top of manhole with opening large enough for a person to pass through that is used as an access point for underground drainage system, chambers vault or sewage pipe etc.
